ABSTRACT: Introduction: The risk of cervical cancer associated with abnormalities found in cervical squamous cells is widely acknowledged. The prevalence of cervical cancer is 1.4% for women with atypical glandular cells. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) though, a tumor is a partial consequence of a systemic disease, which would make the atypical cellular results an indication of a much bigger picture, in this case, energy disharmonies . In TCM, atypical cells can grow in the human body when there is energy deficiency and Heat retention. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that the corrections of energy imbalances of Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood ,taking out Heat retention and replenishing the chakras energy meridians is an important tool to treat patients with atypical cells in a pap smear exam.
